Mom left for Las Vegas this morning with Steve. She has never been there before! She has only driven by it, but has never been in any of the hotels or seen any shows before. She was wanting to see Donnie and Marie or Celine Dion, but they both are on their break until February. I guess we'll just have to go back next month! :) They are going to be staying with a friend of Steves, who has a house right by the Las Vegas Temple. That will be nice for them to be able to go to the temple together. They will be gone until Saturday night, so I'll be home alone for a few days. Party! haha jk.On Monday, January 21, 2013, which was Martin Luther King day, Shannon and I went shopping with Hayden and Parker. Our first stop of the day was Sams Club. They were probably overwhelmed with how much stuff there was to look at in the store and so many unfamiliar people! But they seemed to have a pretty enjoyable time, as long as we kept on moving. Next stop was Wally World for some baby food, then we hit the Superstition Mall. After that we headed over to Party City to look for party decorations for the Hayden and Parkers 1st birthday party, which is going to be held on February 2 at our house, even though their birthdays are on January 29th. Their theme is "Sesame Street". We found some cute Sesame Street hanging decorations, but we still have some shopping around to do. It was fun to be out and about with the boys and Shannon. Shannon is such a good mother! When we were done at Party City, we came back home and we had dinner with mom and Steve. Then Shannon and the boys went home.
Lori Lyman, moms friend who lives here with us, is leaving tomorrow night to go to Texas to see her grandchild be baptized. We are both sick, though. We have the cough that hurts, sore throat, stuffy nose, and I don't know about her, but my whole body aches and I can not sleep at all! Hopefully we will both get over the colds soon.
Grandpa and Martha came over for a little bit today. We just visited and they looked at some of the furniture that we have here that they may be able to use in their new house. Their house is by Brent and Keiras in Queen Creek. It is bigger than our home here! Grandpa sure is a loving man! He takes care of Martha just like he did Grandpa June. I am happy that he has found another friend to be with.
Well, today I might go over to the little Farmers Market that they have here at the barn just to check it out since I have never gone. I don't need anything, but it's always fun just to look around. Today I applied at Sprouts Farmers Market. We'll see if I hear back from them soon or not.
